Our office calls you, usually the same business day, to hear about your project and set up a visit.

A project manager measures and brings samples, so you can see the colors and finishes in your own light.

3You decide

You get a written quote to look over in your own time. When you are ready, we put your project on the schedule.

  • A rough count of the windows and doors you are thinking about
  • A few phone photos, if that is easy. You can add them to the form.
  • Your HOA's rules or contact, if you have an HOA
  • What bothers you most today, whether that is heat, noise, a sticky slider or the look
  • Styles you like, maybe from a neighbor's house or a magazine
  • Plans or measurements, if you already have them

Questions we get asked

Is the in-home quote free?

Yes. We come to your home, measure, show you samples and talk through your options at no charge. You get a written quote to keep.

Can I get a quote for just one door or one slider?

Of course. A single entry door or patio slider is a normal job for us, and we are happy to come out for it.

Do you take care of permits and HOA approval?

Yes. We pull the permit, book the inspection and hand you the paperwork, and we help with your HOA's architectural approval and Title 24 requirements. The city sets the permit fee once it sees the scope, so that fee is separate from your quote.

How will the new windows go in?

We talk it through at the visit. A retrofit laps the new window over the old frame, so nothing is cut and the work goes quickly. A full frame replacement takes the old frame out and patches the stucco, for a clean look with more glass. Stucco popouts can be added to either one.

Can I pay over time?

Yes, through Hearth. A soft credit check shows your options, and on approved credit you can get no interest for 21 months or more.

Can I see products before the visit?

Please do. Our showroom at 75-100 Saint Charles Place in Palm Desert is the largest window and door showroom in the valley. We are open Monday to Friday, 7:30 to 4:30, and Saturdays by appointment.
